Most grass-fed beef sold in the U.S. is raised and slaughtered outside of the U.S. and imported for processing (yes, even beef labeled "Product of USA"). We think it's best to know your farmer and how your beef was raised. We're transparent about how we raise our beef and will gladly answer any questions you may have. A family farm in Indiana

Farmer’s Provisions beef is proudly raised a short drive from Indianapolis by the Howell family. We come from a long line of farmers, but we've been raising livestock, vegetables, and commodities in Indiana for more than 50 years on a farm that now spans two generations.

Regenerative Agriculture

We are committed to regenerative grazing. No feedlots, just green pastures. Our cattle are never fed grain or grain by-products and are 100% grass-fed and finished. All their forages are non-GMO, we rotate the herd to fresh pasture daily, and we use no added-hormones. We believe these practices are essential for raising the healthiest animals, which means the most nourishing beef for healthy families.
